【 過去に出題された「いかにも熟語」的表現 】
１） a piece of cake ： 簡単なこと（平成09年第2回）
引っ掛けの選択肢として、breadなどが用いられます。
a piece of bread （一片のパン）の形になると、視覚的に馴染みがあるために、
ついつい選んでしまい勝ちになります。
２）keep one's fingers crossed ： 幸運を祈る（平成09年第2回）
３）be soaked to the skin ： ずぶぬれになる（平成08年第1回）
４）be in hot water ： まずいことになる（平成07年第2回）
５）too much for me ： 私の手におえない（平成06年第2回）
６）under one's nose ： ～の目の前で（平成05年第2回
veryを使うとしたらunder one's very noseとnoseの前に置くこと。

これは熟語ではなくてimageの意味を問う単語の問題で出題されたようです。
また、「picture」と言う単語も、be the picture of ～ の形で、
「～にそっくりである」の意味がありますので、そろそろねらわれるかもしれません。
